The dynamic differs from puppy play in often being more independent, sensual, and sometimes bratty rather than eager to please. Kittens may be more selective about affection than puppies.
Gear includes ears (often on headbands), tail plugs or clip-on tails, collars with bells, and paw gloves. The aesthetic tends toward cute or elegant rather than the sportier puppy aesthetic.
